Connect Claude to Your Shopify Store

Subscribe to the Shopify MCP and you'll receive a server URL and credentials by email. In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then Connectors, choose "Add custom connector" and paste the URL. Authorise your Shopify store via OAuth and Claude has live access — the whole process takes under two minutes and needs no code.

Shopify has been rolling out MCP support aimed primarily at developers and agent-driven storefront commerce. Our Shopify MCP is built for store owners instead: it focuses on day-to-day operations like products, orders, inventory and fulfilment, and comes with full support, so you can run the store conversationally without developer tooling.

Claude can read and update products and variants (titles, prices, stock, descriptions), check and fulfil orders, track and adjust inventory across your locations, and answer questions about your store data in real time — all through normal conversation in Claude Desktop or Claude.ai.

Access uses OAuth 2.1, so you grant scoped permissions rather than sharing your Shopify admin password, and you can revoke access at any time from your Shopify admin. Every change Claude makes is a visible action in your conversation, so nothing happens silently.
