Reporting Integration
Every completed Stripe payment, as a row in your own spreadsheet — gross, fee, net, customer and what they bought. No exports, no downloads, no month-end scramble.
The Stripe dashboard is excellent at showing you one payment. It is far less good at showing you your business — and the moment you want your numbers in your own shape, you are exporting a CSV, opening it in a spreadsheet, and doing it all again next month.
This integration keeps a Google Sheet permanently in step with Stripe. Your existing payment history is imported when we set it up, and from then on each new completed payment is added as a row on its own — usually within minutes. You build whatever you want on top: pivot tables, monthly summaries, a dashboard, a tab your accountant reads.
£6.99 per month after a free first month. That covers the integration, ongoing updates and support — no per-row or per-payment fees on top.
Yes. We agree how far back you want to go — a year, or everything — and backfill the sheet in one pass at setup, so you begin with your full history rather than an empty tab. After that it only ever adds new payments.
The defaults cover what most people need:
\nIf you want a different set, tell us at setup and we will shape it to how you actually work.
Two things, both narrow. From Stripe, read-only access that cannot move money, issue refunds or change your account. From Google, edit access to the single sheet you nominate — not your Drive, not your other files. Both can be revoked by you at any time, and we walk you through each one.
Yes, and that is rather the point. New payments are appended as rows, so anything you build — extra columns to the right, additional tabs, charts, pivot tables reading from the data — keeps working. We only ever write to the columns we own.
A refunded payment is reflected in the sheet rather than left showing as full revenue, so your totals do not overstate what you actually kept. Partial refunds are shown as the amount actually refunded. We confirm the exact treatment with you at setup so it matches how your bookkeeping works.
They are ignored by default — a sheet full of abandoned checkouts helps nobody. If you want them logged, perhaps to see how often cards are declining, we can add them on a separate tab.
Yes. Each row records the currency it was actually taken in, alongside the amount and fee, so multi-currency accounts stay honest. We do not silently convert everything to pounds — if you want a converted column as well, we can add one.
Usually within a few minutes of the payment completing. It is a continuous sync rather than an instant one — if a payment ever arrives late, the next pass picks it up, so nothing is quietly lost.
Plenty of people do exactly that — a shared Google Sheet is the easiest thing in the world to give an accountant, and it is always current. If you would rather push straight into Xero or QuickBooks instead, that is bespoke work rather than this product. Get in touch and we will quote it.
Nothing breaks. We track payments by their Stripe reference rather than by row position, so sorting, filtering or removing rows will not cause the same payment to be written twice. If you delete something you wanted, ask and we will re-import it.
You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. The sync carries on during the notice period and then stops. The sheet is yours and stays exactly where it is, with everything already in it — it simply stops receiving new rows.
