Shipping Integration
Connect your Magento 2 store to Royal Mail Click & Drop. Orders sync automatically — no manual exports, no data entry, no errors at scale.
This integration connects your Magento 2 store to Royal Mail Click & Drop via Royal Mail's official API. Orders are pushed automatically as they come in — ready for label generation without any manual work or CSV exports.
Built specifically for Magento 2 stores — integrates cleanly with the Magento order management system.
Designed to handle the order volumes typical of Magento stores — no bottlenecks, no manual intervention.
Supports all Royal Mail shipping services — first class, second class, tracked, special delivery and more.
A flat £6.99 per month, with a free first month to evaluate. Since Magento stores typically ship in volume, this is deliberately a flat fee — you won't pay more as your order count grows.
Yes. The connector uses the standard Magento 2 REST API, which Adobe Commerce (Magento Enterprise) exposes in the same way. Both hosted and self-hosted installations are supported.
We need a REST API integration user on your Magento admin — we'll tell you exactly which ACL resources to tick (mainly sales / orders / shipments). For Adobe Commerce we can also work with an OAuth-based integration if that fits your security policy better. Plus your Royal Mail Click & Drop account details.
Yes — multi-store and multi-website Magento configurations are supported. During setup we'll configure which store view(s) feed orders into Click & Drop, which is useful if only some of your brands ship via Royal Mail.
Yes. When postage is paid in Click & Drop, the Royal Mail tracking number is returned to the Magento order, so shipment confirmation emails include it and your customer service team can see it inside the Magento admin.
The recommended approach is to use Royal Mail Click & Drop's own Shipping Rules engine, which evaluates every incoming order and applies a service based on rules you set.
Typical configuration:
For this to work cleanly, product weights need to be populated in Magento — they flow into Click & Drop with the order and drive the rule matching.
Royal Mail periodically change their API and Click & Drop behaviour. Keeping the integration working through those changes is part of your subscription — we monitor upstream updates, patch the connector as needed and handle any issues at our end.
Yes. Whether you're on a standard Click & Drop subscription or a Royal Mail OBA (On-line Business Account), the same integration handles both account types.
Cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. The integration keeps syncing during the notice period, then stops at the end of the billing cycle. Without an active subscription the connector won't continue to run.
