Shipping Integration
Connect your Square store to Royal Mail Click & Drop. Orders sync automatically — no manual data entry, no CSV exports, no mistakes.
This integration connects your Square store directly to Royal Mail Click & Drop. Orders placed through Square are automatically pushed to Click & Drop using Royal Mail's official API — ready for label generation without any manual work.
£6.99 per month after a free first month. That covers the integration itself, ongoing updates and support — no per-order or per-label fees on top.
We need a personal access token generated from your Square developer dashboard — a safer way to authorise the sync without sharing your Square login. We'll also need your Royal Mail Click & Drop credentials. We can guide you through creating the token step by step.
The integration is designed around Square online orders that need to ship. If you also sell in person through a card reader and some of those sales require postage, tell us about your setup during onboarding — we'll confirm how we'd configure which order types flow to Click & Drop.
No — multi-location Square accounts are supported. At setup we'll choose which locations feed orders to Click & Drop, so an over-the-counter location doesn't accidentally generate postage jobs.
Yes — this is handled by Royal Mail's own Shipping Rules engine inside Click & Drop, which evaluates each incoming order and applies a service based on rules you define.
A common weight-based setup:
For this to work, make sure your Square catalogue items have weights set — the weight is passed through with each order and is what drives the rule matching. You can also combine weight with destination or order value for more specific mapping.
Either works. The integration talks to Royal Mail's API regardless of whether you're on a standard Click & Drop subscription or a Royal Mail OBA business account.
Royal Mail occasionally adjust or update their systems. We monitor those changes, patch the integration when needed, and answer questions over email or a scheduled call — all included in the subscription.
You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. The integration carries on running during the notice period and then stops — without an active subscription, it won't continue to sync.
Yes — we regularly connect Square to accounting tools, CRMs, stock systems and bespoke dashboards. Get in touch and tell us what you're trying to build.
