Shipping Integration
Connect your Squarespace store to Royal Mail Click & Drop. Orders sync automatically — no CSV exports, no manual copying, no errors.
This integration connects your Squarespace store to Royal Mail Click & Drop using Royal Mail's official API. When a customer orders, their details are automatically sent to Click & Drop — ready for label generation without any manual intervention.
The service is £6.99 per month with the first month free. No per-order charges and no label caps — you can send as many orders through as you like.
The integration relies on Squarespace's Orders API, which is available on Commerce plans that include API access (typically Commerce Basic and above). If you're unsure which plan you're on, tell us and we'll confirm before you subscribe.
We'll need to help you generate an API key inside your Squarespace Commerce settings — we provide step-by-step instructions or can walk you through it on a call. We'll also need your Royal Mail Click & Drop login so we can configure the connection on that side.
Yes. Once you pay for postage in Click & Drop, the Royal Mail tracking number is returned to the Squarespace order — so your customers receive proper dispatch confirmation emails with tracking included.
Yes — the best route is Royal Mail Click & Drop's built-in Shipping Rules feature. Once orders sync over, Click & Drop checks each one against your rules and assigns the right service.
Example setup:
For this to work cleanly, add product weights inside your Squarespace catalogue — the weight flows through with each order and is what Click & Drop uses to pick the service.
Royal Mail occasionally refresh their API or Click & Drop interface. We track those changes and apply fixes as part of your subscription — so when something changes upstream, it's on us to keep things running, not on you.
Yes — both Click & Drop standalone accounts and Royal Mail OBA (On-line Business Account) are supported by the same integration.
Yes, with 30 days' notice. The sync carries on during the notice period and then stops at the end of your billing cycle.
